I'm Deb Smallwood,

I am a trailblazing executive, thought leader, and advocate for women's empowerment. With a career spanning 46 years in various transformative leadership roles and research studies at Liberty Mutual, KPMG, Tower Group Advisory, ICW Group, and as Founder/CEO of Strategy Meets Action, I have spent decades breaking barriers and redefining what’s possible for women in insurance and technology, and beyond.

After successfully leading Strategy Meets Action through its launch, growth and ultimate acquisition, I shifted my focus to my true passion: helping women rise above limitations, step into their full power, and create careers and lives aligned with who they truly are.

I created and founded SELFPOWERMENT, a platform centered around my upcoming book—all designed to provide high-performing women with actionable strategies to fulfill their potential, lead with confidence, and align their careers and lives with their true being.

I am also a frequent keynote speaker, mentor, and advisor to women leaders across Fortune 500 companies. In my downtime, you’ll see me spending time with my amazing husband of 47 years, my two beautiful daughters and my four 'just the best’ grandchildren.
